Wall Street Pirates, yes they rob us,
of our rightful inheritance.
They are plundering the commonwealth.
They are juggling their books.
But We shall rise together,
by the hand of the Almighty...
make strong this new generation, triumphantly...
Won't you help me sing,
these songs of Freedom,
'cuz all we ever had... Deception Song.
Emancipate yourself from mental slavery,
none but ourselves can free our minds.
Fear not the Neocon Energy,
Keep hearts and minds sublime.
How long shall they steal the profits,
while we stand aside and look,
Some say it's just a part of it,
I say it's time we took down those Crooks!
Won't you help me sing,
these songs of Freedom,
'cuz all we ever had... Deception Song.....Deception Song......Deception Song.

I refuse to believe that the light which we share is dimming
I refuse to believe that the good which we do will fail
I refuse to believe that the righteous will be defeated
Or our vitality be depleted - I refuse to believe
I refuse to believe that our strides are inconsequential
I refuse to believe that our energies will be drained
I refuse to believe even in our bleakest moment
That our force is less than potent - I refuse to believe
For I believe we are connected to a universal power
That cannot be held back for very long
And even when the forces of darkness are all around us
We will prevail if we don’t curtail our song
I refuse to believe that the light which we share is dimming
I refuse to believe that the good which we do will fail
I refuse to believe that the righteous will be defeated
Or our vitality be depleted - I refuse to believe
‘Cause I believe that we are rising with others who are surmising
That caring and compassion are the key
And we are large in numbers
And we are strong in spirit
And we will not betray our humanity
I refuse to believe that our strides are inconsequential
I refuse to believe that our energies will be drained
I refuse to believe even in our bleakest moment
That our force is less than potent - I refuse to believe…

O Occupy, O Occupy
How grateful for your presence
Through harvest time and winter snow
the one percent can't make us go
You have shut the ports, foreclosed the banks
as moms with strollers swell the ranks
O Occupy, O Occupy
It's time to lift your fist up high
We tried to pay our bills on time
and now we're in the food stamp line
We have no home with Christmas tree
but we've got solidarity
Veterans back from endless war
face riot squad, tear gas and more
O winter soldiers huddle near
We cannot wait for skies to clear
We worked a job, we paid the rent
and now we're living in a tent
They throw us out. We come right back.
Too big to fail, like Goldman Sachs.
The jobs have all gone overseas
when, if, and where the bosses please
No occupation left to try
and so we have to occupy
You've lost your hearth, you've lost your home
Thank God for twitter on your phone
They tear us down, we're back again
an occupation with no end
The smallest voice rings clear and bright
It?' megaphoned across the night
The one percent can't vilify
the ninety nine no matter how they try
O Occupy, O Occupy
your mammoth numbers terrify
the one percent who have it all
Their house of cards about to fall
O Occupy, O Occupy
how grateful for your presence

There's a place in New York City where the money goes around
For the 99ers in the street - None of that will trickle down
Chorus: Which side are you on? (2X)
We came here for liberty to change a damned disgrace
Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, got night sticks in our face
The politicos and the bankers are having too much fun
We're out here on the street today to put them on the run
Oh, people can you stand it, tell me if you can
Will we fight here on the street or beg with cap in hand?
Tell them up in Washington, let's hear it 'cross the land
We've been too long divided - United we'll make our stand
It's called the New York Stock Exchange, they all work out of sight
Money goes from their left hand, directly to their right
We send our deepest thanks to you, we know you will not fall
They cops could take us one by one, but they sure can't take us all
You say you love this country, I hope to God that's true,
But do you think those politicians give a damn 'bout you.
Come all you brave New Yorkers, I've a truth that I must tell,
If you don't fight for this country, you'll watch it go to hell.
